Who We Are

We at Trinity Church extend a cordial welcome to you to worship with us. Whether you are a new Episcopalian in town, or are looking for a church home, we invite you to join us.

Our congregation is a member of the world-wide Anglican Communion.  We are a parish of The Diocese of Massachusetts and the Episcopal Church of the USA.  We were founded in 1856, but our roots in the city of Haverhill go back a century before.  We seek to embrace the diversity of our city in the 21st Century.

The Episcopal Church strives to live by the message of Christ, in which there are no outcasts and all are welcome.  Walking a middle way between Roman Catholicism and Protestant traditions, we are a sacramental and worship-oriented church that promotes thoughtful debate about what God is calling us to do and be as followers of Christ.

The center of our common life is the altar. The Eucharist (Holy Communion) is celebrated each Sunday at 10:00 AM and on Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM.  Certain liturgical seasons or holy day services are announced throughout the year.  There are a variety of opportunities for Christian education during the week.  Our Children's Church School meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM.

We invite to the Lord's Table all persons who confess the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, regardless of their particular church affiliation.
