All Parish Breakfast:  May 16!  Bob Takesian and Betty Malbon are organizing a combination men’s and women’s breakfast this year.  Get your tickets!  Breakfast is free!  So is church!  Stay with us following the breakfast for Holy Eucharist at 10:30 AM.

Upcoming events in the Parish
Ascension Day – Thursday May 13:  Our deanery will come together to celebrate the Ascension of our Lord.  Trinity is hosting this event. We have invited other choirs and clergy to help make this a wonderful celebration.  We need folks to prepare refreshments, serve, decorate, sing, and just fill the pews. Let’s turn out for this event and celebrate who we are and who we are becoming! Is there anyone who would be willing to help set up a display of old pictures and posters about our history?
Pentecost Sunday, May 23 – “ All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.” Acts 2:4 Do you speak a language other than English? On On Pentecost we will offer the Peace in the languages of the people! Spanish, French, German, Armenian, Kiswahili, Liberian, Arabic, Hebrew, … And on Pentecost we will celebrate the First Communion with Abigail, Josh, and Heather –
Trinity Sunday, May 30 Baptism – Those who are interested in the sacrament of baptism should speak with Rev’d Jane.
Prayer Focus for Easter – Think Green!
3 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established; 4 what are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? 5 Yet you have made them a little lower than God, and crowned them with glory and honor. 6 You have given them dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under their feet, 7 all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, 8 the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas. 9 O Lord, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth!  Psalm 8: 3-9
