Make a Joyful Noise to the Lord

TRINITY MUSIC PROGRAM

Each week Trinity parishioners are treated to the beautiful sounds of our Aoelian Skinner organ.  Last fall Sarah Brink became our new Music Director and Organist.  Sarah is a talented, experienced musician who brings with her a joy for making music and excitment for the many roles of music at Trinity.  Over the summer she has led us in singing our favorite hymns prior to the service in an old-fashioned sing-a-long.  This coming fall Sarah plans to introduce one new hymn each week for us to practice during the month.  We will build our repertoire and make an even more joyful noise!

The choir at Trinity is small but powerful.  New members are always wlecome whether for the entire year or in small increments for special seasonal music.  If you live to sing, come and join.  No musical training is required - just a desire to make beautiful music.

Last fall we introduced a new after-school music program.
ACAT (Academy of Creative Arts at Trinity) received diocesan funding and funding from the Haverhill Cultural Council.  The program provided an opportunity for young people living in Haverhill and especially in the Acre to experience music instruction.  Scholarships and used instruments are available to all who need the assistance.  No one who desires to learn to sing or play an instrument is excluded due to inability to pay.  Teachers and mentors assist the students in finding the perfect instrument and instructor and provide a safe and fun place to sing, dance, and play.   We offer instruction in:  violin, piano, guitar, flute, recorder, drama,  circle dance, crafts, choir, and last but not least ...BoomWackers!

For information on any of the music programs at Trinity, please call the church office 978-372-4244.
