A.C.A.T.
Academy of Creative Arts at Trinity

Trinity has worked with area music teachers to provide affordable music lessons for elementary age children in the Haverhill area.  Our lessons are offered free to children in our community who would otherwise not have musical education due to family financial constraints.  Each child who enrolls has the opportunity to explore their interest in music for ten weeks through lessons in violin, flute, piano, or guitar.  The youngsters also have the opportunity to sing in a community chorus and to fill various dramatic roles for our recitals held two times per year.

A.C.A.T. is an outreach program of Trinity Episcopal Church that is supported by private donors, the Episcopal Church, and the Haverhill Cultural Council which is a public granting agency.  Every effort is made by Trinity to ensure that children of all faiths and ethnicities are welcomed and made to feel at home in our church building.  We strive to offer a variety of musical selections that are reflective of the wonderful diversity in our community.  We are sensitive to allergies and help to restrict exposure to allergens.  We have a zero tolerance for violent behavior.  Our mentors are required to attend a churh sponsored training on abuse.
